Latex Roll Pouf

This pouf by Italian design studio 13Ricrea is made from latex coming from the shoe industry. Precisely the production of insoles. Once the foot print is cut away, long rolls of bright colour latex are left.

The poufs are very soft, confortable and ergonomic. 

Designer 13 Ricrea, master in "upcycling",  is cleverly transforming industrial discard into fascinating pieces of furniture.

The latex roll pouf is for INDOOR USE ONLY. Please note the Latex Roll is a temporary furniture. Latex is sensible to sun, water, dump. Keep it indoor! If dirty, you can peel it off easily.

A note on "upcycling":  is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or a higher environmental value.
The goal of upcycling is to prevent wasting potentially useful materials by making use of existing ones. This reduces the consumption of new raw materials when creating new products. Reducing the use of new raw materials can result in a reduction of energy usage, air pollution, water pollution and even greenhouse gas emissions.
